Lessons

I am currently accepting new students of all ages at my home studio in the Kingwood area of Houston. Children tend to progress in lessons more quickly at age 6 and later, but I will consider accepting younger children on a case-by-case basis. I also believe it’s never too late to take music lessons, because adults have been some of my best students. Work and family commitments are what tend to hold adults back, not any inability to learn new skills.

At present I do require students and family members or friends attending in-person lessons to wear masks. I also offer remote lessons via the video chat platform of your choice (i.e. Zoom, FaceTime, Google Duo). In-person lesson rates are $30 for 30 minutes, $45 for 45 minutes, and $60 for 60 minutes.

I advise starting with a 30-minute weekly lesson, which I feel is adequate for any student below an advanced level. My lessons are fairly fast-paced, and students will progress as quickly as they are able to. There is always the option to switch to a longer lesson if desired.
